Hi,

I've just downloaded a free edition of Modelio.
After I create a new project the UML Model Navigator doesn't appear, so I can not continue with my modeling.
I wonder what I've done wrong? May some extra integration is needed?

Have you created a simple UML project or an SOA/BPMN one?

How big is the setup file you downloaded? (mine is 150MB )

Are you able to reproduce the problem over and over again? If so, I'd consider reinstalling.

I create a simple UML project and creation indeed takes about 5 seconds. The setup file is 153MB.

The problem is the same every time I try. Nevertheless I dont't think reinstalling will help. I've read in wiki that Modelio is integrated with Eclipse, EMF and I wonder if I need to set this integration? or may be there are some other prerequisites?

I didn't have to install anything in particular on my machine...

When you start Modelio, the main window is displayed with the "Workspace" tab active. Does this window disappear when you try to create a project? I mean does it look like a crash?

Also, do you have sufficient rights to write into "C:/Documents and Settings/user/modelio/workspace\projectName"? That's where the projects are created.

No extra installation was required to run Modelio for me either (except for Modelio itself of course).
Are you sure the "UML Model Navigator" tab didn't appear somewhere but maybe didn't get focus (it could be "behind" another tab)?
Could you provide a screenshot of the state of Modelio after the creation of the project? This could help finding out how to help you.
Note: use an external source for the screenshot, like imageshack.us/, cause the upload of files doesn't seem to work on the forum... :$

Isn't the UML Model Navigator simply minimized or docked somewhere else?
