To save the contents of a diagram in a file, just carry out the following steps:

Click on the
icon in the diagram toolbar. The "Save as" window then appears. -
In the "Save as" window, select the physical location where you want to save the diagram, and enter a name and type for the diagram file.

Click on "Save" to confirm.
Note: When saving diagrams in a file, make sure that you type in the file name and the file extension.
